The Blue Flower - Spring Quail - Booklet Chart and/or Roxy Floss Conversion

Floss colours included are: Charcoal, Moscato, Turf, Espresso, Lazy Morning, Tart, Garden Party, Legend-Dairy, Brunette, The Lawngest Time, Creme Brulee, and Countess

This larger pillow design measures 131 stitches wide by 181 stitches tall
The smaller pillow design measures 199 stitches wide by 36 stitches tall

To stitch only the larger pillow, you will need a wide quarter of linen for 28ct. You can fit this on a wide eighth of linen on 32, 36, and 40ct (32ct will only have a 2.5 inch border on the short side of the fabric).

To stitch both designs, you can fit both on a wide quarter on all counts, but you will only have a 2 inch outer border on the short side of the fabric and a 4 inch allowance in between the two stitched pieces on 28ct and 32ct. On 36 and 40ct, you will only have a 2 inch border on the long side of the fabric and a 6 inch allowance in between the two stitched pieces. You will want to stitch these pieces so that the small pillow is stitched to take up the width of the shorter side of the fabric and then stitch the larger pillow perpendicular to the smaller pillow, leaving the appropriate allowance as written above.

Test a small sample if you intend to wash, esp darker colours. It has been rinsed and set carefully and should be colourfast - but always better safe than sorry.
