  • If you are subscribed to our newsletter, the links to both the room block and registration form will be sent in a separate automated e-mail.

RETREAT DETAILS

Dates: October 23, 2026 – October 25, 2026
Location: Courtyard Toronto Brampton, 90 Biscayne Crescent, Brampton, ON, Canada
Retreat Fee: $341.95 CAD + HST (13%) = $386.40 (approx. $280 USD)

INCLUDED IN THE RETREAT FEE

  • Lectures presented by Theresa Venette of Shakespeare's Peddler/Kitten Stitcher
  • Access to the Stitching Room during the following hours:
    • Friday from 8am - 11pm
    • Saturday from 8am - 11pm
    • Sunday from 8am - 12pm (noon)
  • Access to the hotel lounge area for small group stitching outside of the above hours
  • Build Your Own Sub Night on Friday, Oct 23!
  • Coffee/Tea bar all weekend (decaf available)
  • Swag Bag!
  • Access to vendors that are selling during the retreat
  • Option to participate in the Smalls Exchange on the Saturday
  • Chance to win one of many door prizes throughout the weekend (draws are done on Friday evening, Saturday evening, and Sunday morning)
NOT INCLUDED IN THE RETREAT FEE


The following is not included in the retreat fee:

  • Retreat exclusive pattern/project kit
  • Guest room rental (see above for the room block details)
  • Transportation to and from the event
  • Transportation to any other nearby destinations
  • Any food/beverages not specified above

We have secured a special room block rate at the Courtyard Toronto Brampton. The rate for this year is $209 CAD/night (approx. $153 USD/night).

Note: You must book your hotel room by September 20, 2026 to receive the room block rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY

CANCELLATION ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 11, 2026:
You are eligible for a refund minus a $50 CAD (approx. $37 USD) cancellation fee up until 11:59 PM (EST) on Friday, September 11, 2026. You are also responsible for cancelling any additional related bookings, such as accommodations and transportation.

CANCELLATION ON OR AFTER SEPTEMBER 12, 2026:
No refunds. During this period, final preparations are being made for the event and we are unable to offer any refunds after the above date. Hard costs are incurred for the retreat and we need to ensure those are covered. Thank you for your understanding. You are also responsible for cancelling any additional related bookings, such as accommodations and transportation.

RETREAT WAIVER

Before attending the StitchNorth Retreat, you will be required to sign the StitchNorth liability waiver. The waiver will be delivered to you electronically 2 - 3 weeks before the event.

COVID-19 POLICY

We will be abiding by any and all mandates from the provincial health unit as well as any policies in place by our venue. We will be sure you keep you updated on any and all changes that directly affect the retreat.

Please note that we will not be enforcing anything that is not mandated by the government/our venue at the time of the retreat. We will not tolerate any judgement from attendees towards other people's decision whether or not to wear a mask.
