The Maximum Cross Stitch, Evertote, and Roxy Floss Co Sampler September 2025 collaboration is here! This year, we have a reproduction of a 1853 sampler stitched by Jane Wood. This sampler is big, beautiful, and vibrant!

This item includes your choice of a booklet chart for Maximum Cross Stitch's design "Jane Wood 1853" and/or a pack of the called-for Roxy Floss Co threads.

The booklet also includes the pattern for the coordinating small, "Jane Wood 1853 Pincushion: An Adaptation from an Antique Sampler".

• The main sampler measures 302 stitches wide by 306 stitches tall
• The top of the pincushion measures 104 stitches wide by 104 stitches tall
• The sides of the pincushion each measure 104 stitches wide by 26 stitches tall

Note: Please make sure that you have the correct floss pack selected as there are multiple options.

Linen size information for the main sampler:

• If you are stitching this on 28ct linen, you can fit this on a half yard, but you will only have a 2.25 inch border on the short side of the fabric.
• If you are stitching this on 32, 36, or 40ct linen, you will need a half yard.
• If you are stitching this on 46ct linen, you can fit this on a wide quarter, but you will only have a 2.5 inch border on the short side of the fabric.

Linen size information for the pincushion:

• If you are stitching this on 28, 32, or 36ct linen, you will need a wide quarter to ensure that you have enough fabric to make a fully finished object.
• If you are stitching this on 40ct linen, you can fit this on a wide eighth, but you will only have a 2.5 inch border on all sides to ensure you have enough fabric to make a fully finished object.
• If you are stitching this on 46ct linen, you will need a wide eighth of linen and will need a border of exactly 3 inches on all sides to ensure you have enough fabric to make a fully finished object.

Floss is carded and packed for you by hand in a smoke free, pet friendly workshop.

Test a small sample if you intend to wash, esp darker colours. It has been rinsed and set carefully and should be colourfast - but always better safe than sorry.
