From the Designer:

After releasing my design The Bird Feeder a few weeks ago, I received a lovely comment from one of my Patreon supporters: they wanted to gift the design to a man who loves birds and were wondering if they could adapt the pattern by turning the lady into a man. I felt that it might be too complex an undertaking to simply adapt, so I started from scratch and created a companion piece called Tom Shepherd.

In this design, we see Tom wearing a wide-brimmed hat feeding birds, with some of them using it as a landing platform.

The original design featured a short poem that I wrote in a 19th-century style. For this one, I wanted to do the same, so I wrote a little lullaby. I also put this lullaby to music: you can listen to the lullaby when you search for "Tom Shepherd" on my Patreon page. I hope you will enjoy both the pattern and the little poem!
