From the Designer:

During the recording of one of the “Fast Frisian SAL” videos on my YouTube channel, I was showing various beautiful wooden items in my personal collection. Sometimes we need to look at things with a fresh pair of eyes, and sometimes showing someone something makes you look even better at something.

Showing a carved box (which was possibly made in the 17th or very early 18th century) inspired me to make the pattern which you find in this booklet. Of course there’s a bird on it, and for that reason I love it even more. I hope you will enjoy this little box bird as much as I do!
