This chart measures 213 crosses wide and 213 crosses tall for a total of 19,603 crosses

Floss colours included are: Gwyneth, Light Sage, Dijon, and Mustardseed

If you are stitching this design on 28ct or 32ct linen, you will need a half yard.
If you are stitching this design on 36ct linen or higher, you will need a wide quarter.

From the Designer:

It would be really exciting if I could claim that this design came to me in a dream. It didn’t - but I did wake up at 3 AM with a little poem nearly fully formed. Luckily, I wrote everything down, so the next morning I could sit down and start finalising the poem fully and work on the design.

The design formed very organically - I started with the idea that I wanted the poem to be framed in a circular design from which branches would be growing. Then came the idea of making part of that circle a negative space.

At the centre of the design are various motifs that could have appeared on a traditional sampler, but were all new designs. The poem deals with friendships or relationships. At the top of the design is a tree of life flanked by two persons. One of them is wearing a dress and the other a pair of trousers: you can stitch them as they are or make up your own configuration.

- Floss is carded and packed for you by hand in a smoke free, pet friendly workshop.

Test a small sample if you intend to wash, esp darker colours. It has been rinsed and set carefully and should be colourfast - but always better safe than sorry.
