This booklet contains 4 large trees of life in a circular design. Each tree has a unique border. These trees can be used as alternatives to the large tree design on the Reaching Skyward SAL pattern, or can be stitched up as individual charts.

When working an individual tree design, it also counts towards the 2023 MFE SAL - so please use the hashtag #MFESAL 2023 so we can all follow and admire each other's work!

Each "alternative tree" measures 133 stitch high and 123 stitches wide.

FLOSS REQUIREMENTS

This design is charted for two colours - one lighter and one darker.

Alternative Tree One: 3404 light, 7568 dark
Alternative Tree Two: 2794 light, 7995 dark
Alternative Tree Three: 3572 light, 7698 dark
Alternative Tree Four: 3760 light, 6882 dark

Typically, you can get approx. 1800 full crosses per Roxy skein when stitching with two threads, or approx. 3600 crosses per Roxy skein when stitching with one thread.

Jacob recommends Roxy Floss Co Gomez and Roxy Floss Co Caramel for stitching this chart. The Evertote team recommends Roxy Floss Co Great Lakes and Roxy Floss Co Amaretto (see second photo).

You are encouraged to work with the colours you love most, but you should not feel limited to working with two colours only. Please feel free to add as much colour to the design as you see fit!

Looking for fabric? We recommend Roxy Linen or Aida in Porcelain.
