Modern Folk Embroidery - Rule of Life - Booklet Chart and/or Roxy Floss

This is the physical booklet of Jacob's wonderful new design, Rule of Life.

"Rule of Life is a design that takes inspiration from an 18th century book of Children’s rhymes and moral verse. I felt that one of the verses would lend itself very well to a Quaker sampler, so I set out to make a design featuring this saying and a collection of various medallions.

Once the pattern was completed, I watched a video where Caroline of Off the Grid Needlearts was showing some of the new Roxy Floss Co flosses - and that inspired me to add some colour to a previously monochrome design.

This design features only full crosses, and is suitable for both beginning and more experienced stitchers."

Overdyed by hand in small batches, this floss is awesome! Please ensure you are ordering the amount needed as duplicating dye lots is a tricky business and the next batch of this colourway may vary slightly.

Test a small sample if you intend to wash, esp darker colours. It has been rinsed and set carefully and should be colourfast - but always better safe than sorry.
