The saying is attributed to Kabir Das, a 15th-century Indian mystic, poet, and saint. Its simple lines about the unity of all appeal to me. To my frustration, I have not been able to find the source of this beautiful line. It is possible that the line is paraphrased from the poem below and that it is simply one translation that has become very popular.
