Jacob-Palooza Weekend 2 (October 13, 2023 - October 15, 2023)

RETREAT DETAILS

Dates: Friday October 13, 2023 - Sunday October 15, 2023
Location: RBC Place London, 300 York Street, London, ON, Canada
Retreat Fee: Select from the project options for full registration fee total.

INCLUDED IN THE RETREAT FEE

• A weekend with the one and only Jacob DeGraaf of Modern Folk Embroidery!
• Presentation by Jacob on the sampler with historical detail
• Tutorial on the Hem Stitch Technique for project finishing
  
• A small supplies kit courtesy of Evertote to complete a test piece incorporating the Hem Stitch as well as the Frisian Stitch
  
• Access to the stitching room during the booked retreat times Pizza party on Friday, October 13
• Coffee and Tea all weekend

NOT INCLUDED IN THE RETREAT FEE

• Accommodations - we are currently working on getting a room block at the DoubleTree by Hilton which is connected to RBC Place London via sky walk
• Transportation to and from the retreat
• Transportation to any other nearby destinations
• Any food/beverage not specified above

OTHER PROJECT

You will have a chance to purchase the chart and supplies for the project you did not select today at a later date.

Please note that Project B will not be offered with an Aida option as Aida cloth is not compatible with some of the specialty stitches included in the chart.

RETREAT WAIVER

Before attending the Jacob-Palooza Event, you will be required to sign the Jacob-Palooza liability waiver. The waiver will be delivered to you electronically closer to the date of the event.

COVID-19 POLICY

We will be abiding by any and all mandates from the provincial health unit as well as any policies in place by our venue. We will be sure you keep you updated on any and all changes that directly affect the retreat.

Please note that we will not be enforcing anything that is not mandated by the government/our venue at the time of the retreat. We will not tolerate any judgement from attendees towards other people's decision whether or not to wear a mask.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If cancelled on or before Thursday, April 13, 2023 - You will receive a full refund of the registration fee.

If cancelled on or before Sunday, August 6, 2023 - You will receive a 75% refund of the registration fee.

If cancelled on or before Wednesday, September 13, 2023 - You will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee.

All cancellations, for any reason, from September 14, 2023 and onward will not be refunded.
